All dynamic rotating ovens manufactured by PU MIX are actually fully-fledged rotary table, heated up by a hot-air recirculation system active both on the lower and upper part of the equipment.

Basically, these systems are ideal to keep moulds at certain temperature before and after the pouring process. This is essential to get homogenous moulding results both in terms of time and temperature, since the control over reaction times and shrinkages is much tighter. Moreover, these ovens can be very effective with different types of production, as their rotational movement can be controlled: by the operator using a pedal; manually but with the addition of automatic stops when reaching cams / limit switches; or fully automatically with automatic stops when reaching cams / limit switches or at set intervals.

Other fundamental features of this type of rotating ovens are:

  • Structure designed to optimize both structural integrity and thermal insulation.
  • Custom-made structure depending on the weights of the moulds and the poured materials.
  • Customized internal and external diameters, in order to vary the number of available positions to place the moulds.
  • Ample internal space with an electrically heated surface (max. temperature of 130°C, higher upon request).
  • Frontal door that can open automatically and can be synchronized with the activities of other machines or systems (upon request, it is possible to install 2 different doors, 1 for extraction and 1 for pouring).
  • Independent control (using probes) of the air temperature of both the lower and upper sections of each device.
  • Electromechanical safety measures to prevent overtemperature.
  • Helical fans activated by electric motors to control the forced ventilation of the air inside the ovens. The upper heating system starts when the door is closed and it stops when the door is opened. while it goes through the aforementioned heating elements and it is eventually redirected into the oven’s rooms from below. On the other hand, the lower heating system is always working, in order to keep the rotary table’s surface at the ideal temperature at all times during working operations.
  • Central column with slits to allow the connection with an external suction system. This is necessary in order to suck reaction and release agent’s fume before the equipment is opened.
  • Pedals to manually control movement, rotation and the automatic mode (constant speed or stepper movement).
  • Remote general control board where the operator can find: PLC; screen; electromechanical controls; inverts; and the visual and sound systems to signal possible alarms or malfunctions.
  • Internet connection for remote assistance.
  • Warning e-mails in case of malfunctions.
