Our Vacuum Mix model equipment are designed to degas and mix compact polyurethane materials on a small scale. This makes them ideal when it is necessary to produce small batches of products that require different components. As a matter of fact, by using one of our Vacuum Mixes, our clients can avoid all those long and expensive cleaning operations that are compulsory after changing materials directly into a casting machine.

First, the operator has to weight and then gather the various components into a Polypropylene or Inox container. Once said vessel has been placed and secured inside the fixed chamber on the work-table structure, the vacuum-sealed door can be closed. At this point, the degassing and mixing automatic operations start. Aside from being really easy to use, this type of devices requires really minimal maintenance.

The main features of our Vacuum Mix units are:

  • Degassing chamber with inspection window in vacuum-resistant glass, in order to allow the operator to check the whole process in real time.
  • Polypropylene or Inox containers (capacity from 0.5 lt up to maximum 5 lt) can be fixed inside the chamber thanks to dedicated adjustable clamps.
  • Fast-mounting mixer with vertical movement activated by a pneumatic piston.
  • Automatic block of the mixer’s rotation when the door is opened.
  • Vacuum pump to degas materials placed on the lower section of work table.
  • Special gaskets for vacuum sealing guaranteed and tested at our premises.
  • Central control panel that can be used to set and adjust the times of the various cycles (degassing and mixing).

VACUUM MIX for the VACUUM MIXING of POLYURETHANES and FILLERS

We can also provide a version of our Vacuum Mix that is ideal for the vacuum mixing of filler.

Namely, these units:

  • Are designed for volumes up to 9 lt.
  • Feature an increased motor.
  • Can mount various types of mixers.
  • Feature a vertical movement of the container itself (height is adjustable) thanks to an electric motor. Said motor activates automatically when the mixing starts, in order to facilitate the dispersion and correct mixing of the filler.
  • Are provided with a laser temperature reader, upon request.
  • Are supplied with a heating system for the interior of the chamber, upon request.
